Brutality on Rhodos

Dear Sir,

I woul like to notify to the Association of Animal Right a brutality that my husband and I have been witnesses 3 days ago at Rhodos Island, more precisely at Lindos Bay. I have already written to the Italian association LAV that kindly has provided to give some addresses in Greece andinvited me to write in english to you.My husband and I were walking troughout a very beautiful beach named Psaltos Bay and where a neolitic site (?) is located near by the "very romantic" LINDOS MEMORIES RESORT Hotel. Immediately we eared some dogs barking. The strangeness, because the site very close to the Hotel, let us to verify better and the scenery was: inside the neolitic (probably)cistern (or more properly called cleft crossing the mountain) 3/4 dogs were locked and scarcely covered with a wooden girder. Can you imagine the high temperature reached (at 12 a.m. were 42° degrees!) also because no ventilation was possible into a OVEN LIKE THAT ONE 4-5 meters high! We think that the Hotel is responsible of such brutality thus the dogs are locked during the day and let them to became ferocious and let them free in order to keep a good watch during the night.

Probably this letter will not give any result but I would like to think that I will give the opportunity to live better to the living being.

I hope that you can make some efforts in order to expose the brutality.

Thanking you in advance

Sincerely yours

Francesca Passarelli
