 The story of Hook

This is Hook. A male cat which has been found few years ago by a couple of animal lovers in a public trash bin. Probably, someone thought that this was the best solution to get rid of him off... Hook had already lost his one eye by several infections and has today reduced visibility from the other one.

However, Hook was quite lucky as the couple who found him not only treated him right and saved his other eye but they also adopted him since they loved him too much and they wanted some company for their other cat they already had. Hook, despite his slight problem with his vision, has been always very playful and alongside with the other male cat of the couple they form today a "classic cat duet" as they are inseparable and always care for each other.

Hook is very happy now in its own home with his humans and his friend. Sometimes he forgets that already 4 years have passed since his adventure and continues to play all the time usually with other cats that his house guests from time to time for medical treatment as his by one year older "house mate" usually feels quite bored even to move....

Despite his vision problem Hook never complains and in some cases he manages better than a cat with normal vision as his desire to let's say catch a fly or a mosquito is far more greater than other cats.

His appetite is controlled, he is neutered and vaccinated. Sometimes when guest cats leave for their new homes Hook feels a little sad as he's sitting alone for few hours probably thinking that his "toys" left. But he overcomes it fast and start riling his friend as he knows that he and his humans will always be there for him as he will be for them.

If you ever find yourself in a similar position with the couple who saved and adopted Hook, first of all you have to think if you really need a pet in your life. If yes, then that will be your chance to have a life-time friend. If the answer is no then give your best to save it first and then try to find a place for it because someone will probably needs a pet like Hook ....!
